Twilight Princess Manga Announced

As if Twilight Princess’s tenth anniversary celebration wasn’t momentous enough, an HD remake isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to. Longtime comic book artist duo Akira Himekawa has just announced that a manga based on Link and Midna’s adventure is on its way. Hit the jump for more details.

According to artists’ Facebook page, the Japanese version of the manga will release through the Manga One app for smartphones and tablets. Once the official announcement is made, they will share information regarding the English version.

The duo has published multiple Zelda manga series’ throughout the years, including those based on Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, and Phantom Hourglass. Considering that the two are known for putting their own spin on the source material, I’m excited to see their interpretation of my favorite video game.

  1. Holy crap, about time!!! It’s been a really long time since I read the Zelda mangas, but they were all worth reading, even if I don’t agree with some decisions. I was disappointed that there was no Twilight Princess manga, but glad to see that’s being changed!

  2. Finally i was waiting something about the manga since july, i’m glad it would T.P; the choosen manga i already read the ocarina manga and it was pretty cool even having a link talking.

  3. Not a huge fan of manga but glad they’re finally giving this some attention. Might pick it up. In fact most likely I will but probably just to have for collecting/display purposes.
