Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
One last time! We’re finally there, at the end of the game. This is what we’ve been working so hard for. Only the strongest survives until the end. Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed this Mass Playthrough and this will be something worth remembering. My last piece of the playthrough is here now, and I am pretty happy that I don’t have to write these things for a while. Inspiration does not come from nowhere, usually.

Foresto Templo (Japanese Forest Temple. Trust me on this.)
Hello, Hero! It's finally time for you to save the world again! Though, you're not doing it alone believe it or not, so expect something different when running around like a crazy fool, searching for the richest and most rare treasures this time. You're going to save the world with many of your online Hero friends who, for some unknown reason that surely no one knows about, wants to save the world at the same time as you. I know, I know, if everyone does it at the same time, everything just becomes a big mess. That's why I, and your friendly neighbor admin Rare, created this very helpful and hopefully tidy schedule for you to follow along with. That way, we heroes are able to talk about our journey together like real friends. We're all able to complete our journey at the same time as well, sure. But everyone knows that friendship is the most important aspect of all of this, so no one really cares for this thing that is called “shared progress”. I mean, friendship is magic, so it’s every moment should be savored more than any other. Or, at least that’s what My Little Pony taught me.
We, as in Rare and me, hope that you, the Hero, will have a wonderful time and- whatever, I’ve never been the one for speeches. I’m not the one for hitting my glass with a spoon and risk breaking it. I mean, those things can cost quite the fortune.
Anyway, with all that said: LET'S GET THIS BITCH ON THE ROAD, HERO!
Days 1-3 This will be from the 21st to the 23rd of June. The next part will start exactly 48 hours from now. I changed it to 48 hours for one sequence because I didn’t want it to take one week to complete just two temples. That seems like a lot of time for just two temples to me. Do note though that this is an experiment and the required time to complete the sequences may change in the future if need be.
Goal: Play the game until you've completed the Forest Temple. No more, no less. I hope this won’t be too hard to understand and that you can read.
You may play on as much as you want after you've completed the goal, but you're not allowed to enter Hyrule Field. If you do, and you accomplish anything there or in any other area after that one, consider restarting your console. If you haven't saved recently and you accidentally complete something you're not supposed to, it's your own fault and there's nothing anyone can do about it. If you're planning on continuing playing after you've done such a huge and unacceptable mistake, you would normally have to restart completely. Though, please tell us if you've done a mistake and you may be forgiven and can play on with that save file as long as you wait for the others. But you're a hero who never does any mistakes, so I don't think this will be a problem.
There are a total of 13 chests in the Forest Temple. All can be picked up, so there's no need to worry about having the need to come back here later if you want them all. Just remember though, you're not really that greedy as you want to be, so picking up all the money will be hard if you enter with a full wallet. I hope you know what I'm talking about, Hero!
Side Quests: There are a total of three Heart Pieces and one bottle. That's about the only real side quests that exist so far in the game. I will not spoil where exactly all the side quests are or how to complete them. There are some people in here that haven’t done a 100% of this game yet, and I don’t want to be the guide that spoils it for them.

Ein Goron Mines! (German Goron Mines. Trust me on this.)
Hello again, Hero! It’s time again to continue conquering the world with a silly sword and a wooden shield, and it’s going to be awesome. Oh yeah! Tears will be shed, enemies will be defeated and stupid jokes will be uttered. It’s the universe of Zelda where you experience your own adventure from a man with a green hat’s perspective. People often say that you’re insane because of this, but we both know that this is obviously not true. Don't believe what anyone says. They're all just trying to stop you from taking ov- saving the world. Yes, saving the world was totally what I intended to say.
Anyway, let’s get down to business!
Days 3-5 This will be from the 23rd to the 25th of June. The next part will start, yet again, 48 hours from now.
Goal: Play the game until you've completed the Goron Mines. No more, no less.
This time, you’re not allowed to blow up the rocks on the other side of Eldin Bridge that triggers the Shadow Beasts to teleport the bridge away. You may ask “Xytox, why don’t you just tell us not to enter the next Twilight area instead? That’s much easier to understand and not to accidentally do in my opinion.” Well, there’s a very simple answer to that. Because the Shadow Beasts teleports the bridge away, you won’t be able to do any side questing in the world until you’ve cleared the third Twilight and made your way around everything. Restricting you from blowing up the rocks will allow you to do side questing as much as you want until we continue our epic journey towards FAME AND FORTUNE!
There are a total of 17 chests in the Goron Mines. This time though, all cannot be picked up. For some reason, there’s one chest in this dungeon that is out of reach that you have to come back to later on when you’ve acquired the necessary item.
Sidequests: If you’re planning on picking up everything this time, you’re going to either be very satisfied by everything that there is to pick up, or be very annoyed. There are a total of nine Heart Pieces spread throughout the land waiting to fill you hearts. Yeah, I don't make sense anymore. THERE'S ALSO BUGS AND A HOWL STONE THAT I DIDN'T PUT IN UNTIL NOW GOSH DAMMIT! There's a total of ten bugs and one Howl Stone. Now there's no reason to kill me anymore.

Lakebed Temple
Salutations, Hero! I’m back again! I hope you missed me, because I missed you, that’s for sure. Some things were simply just not meant to be in this world, but something that is meant to be, is me typing down this schedule for you, Hero! It’s time for you to play hero in the water, and it’s going to be so much fun! Oh my God, this has been the part I’ve longed for the most. Just the thought of making well-deserved but still non-existent progress in the temple with water is so intriguing to me it’s crazy. Just imagine how awesome it would be if you would need to open the door into your room with a key, but the key is in Japan and you have to go and get it just to get into the room. Yeah, that’s my experience with this temple. Have so much fun!
Days 5-8 This will be from the 25th to the 28th of June. This part will take a little bit more time to do, so to be fair to all of you, I let it be 72 hours long. I also want some time to do these schedule parts, so that’s another reason.
Goal: Play the game until you’ve completed Lakebed Temple. Oh, how much fun!
As soon as Midna’s Lament is done and you’ve saved her from her doom, you’re basically not able to do anything except go and get the Master Sword. The part is already long as it is, so I skipped including the Master Sword in this part. There will not be a whole lot to pick up, but there’s still a whole lot of struggle to complete this in my opinion. You are basically not allowed to pick up the Master Sword. Easy restriction.
I did not count the chests because I basically glitched through the whole dungeon to complete it as soon as possible. I also had barely any time on me, so emergency measures had to be done.
Sidequests: There’s one howl stone and four Heart Pieces. Also, I’ve decided to not count the poes. Counting them would take far too much time as they only appear on the night, and I don’t feel committed enough to do that, sorry.

Arbiter’s Grounds
Once again, I’m here, Hero! It’s time for more fun, more adventure, more killing. Ever so frequently I post in this thread, just to update you with text and more text. Well, guess what? This time you don’t have to read miles of text just because I want you to. Here you go:
Days 8-10 From the 18th to the 30th of June. Yeah, I don’t have to inform you of this, I think you get it by now. I don’t think it’s really that much to complete if we don’t count sidequests, so this will have to do.
Goal: Play and play and play and play until you’ve completed Arbiter’s Grounds.
There are some secrets in this world that were never meant to be revealed to a normal citizen of Hyrule. It’s your job to find one of them this time as well as some other cool stuff. But either way, the broken entrance to the dark counterpart of your world is the goal this time.
Chests… Do I really have to? Or am I allowed to skip it this time? I can tell you that there’s no chests that are out of reach in this temple, but I actually didn’t count how many of them there were.
Sidequests will be left out this time believe it or not. I wanted to tell you how many Heart Pieces and other things you could pick up in these specific parts of the schedule. But it’s almost impossible as I missed some of them and ended up as a wolf so I can’t go back and grab them. Not to mention that the poes only appear at night, and I’m not in the mood of standing around, waiting for the sun to come up just so I can tell you guys: “Hey, guys, there’s a poe you can grab over there!” Objections? Didn’t think so.

Snowpeak Ruins
It’s time again, Hero! Chilling cold death, horrifying but yet very friendly allies, silly mini-games and much more is what’s ahead of you this time. Are you ready to approach and enter a mansion filled with death and warm soup? Will the pumpkin be the right flavor this time? Is the goat cheese really from Ordon? All of these questions will be answered when we play further into the game. The real question is though; will this be as simple as you think it will be? Read on and hopefully you will be annoyed and have fun at the same time.
Days 10-12 Ends on a Monday. Hurray for Mondays!
Goal:Complete the chilly mansion of coldness. After you've defeated Blizzeta, you're done. You're not allowed to progress the story in any way. Basically, don't talk to Rusl to receive the Golden Cucco. Easy restriction.
Awesome Tier:You have to enter, complete and exit the icy mansion with the Zora Armor on. No form of healing is allowed. No fairies, no potions, etc. You can only pick up hearts and fairies in the mansion. Not too hard, but it should be fun for those who want some challenge on their way. You must enter the mansion with the Zora armor and never take it off until you've killed Blizetta. You're not allowed to bring any form of healing with you into the mansion. You're only allowed to heal yourself with hearts and fairies found inside the mansion. Though, you're not allowed to store the fairies or any other form of healing in your bottles in the mansion.
God Tier:You have to enter, complete and exit the icy mansion with Zora Armor on, with only three hearts. No form of healing is allowed. No fairies, no potions, etc. You can only pick up hearts and fairies in the mansion. Will you be permitted to call yourself God Tier at this game? Are you good enough to play this without worrying about damage? Have you already failed because you picked up some hearts? Too bad for you. Only Gods can plan ahead and predict the future. Again, only hearts and fairies from inside the mansion. Storage of fairies or any other form of healing found inside the mansion is prohibited.

Temple of Time
It’s back in time again, Hero! Have you ever enjoyed moving enormous statues into gigantic bells that teleports them to other rooms throughout a non-explain process with a completely useless wand just to end up where you started? Good, because that’s exactly what you have ahead of you. In this temple, we will be taught that struggling for something in life will only make us end up on square one again. So remember, kids, don’t try to become successful in life, it’s not worth it.
May the Goddesses be with you and I wish you a stone moving experience. Yes, I do know that is a really bad pun. People say I have Witzelsucht, but bitch please, I’m Xytox.
Days 12-14 Ends on Wednesday! Seriously, Wednesdays are awesome.
Goal:Complete the Temple of Time. Kill the really easy and disappointing second phase of Armagohma and you’re done! Don’t know what to say with restrictions. Just keep yourself away from Shad. I know he looks attractive, but sometimes you have to keep yourself in check for the sake of others. Shad is mine anyways.
Awesome Tier:Do not use arrows on Armagohma’s second phase. The second phase of Armagohma is a stupid filler that I never quite understod. I’ve personally never tried killing the second phase with something else than arrows, but I figured it could be fun with some change. So, basically, you’re awesome if you kill Armagohma's second phase completely without arrows. (If it's even possible.)
God Tier:Skip Ooccoo in Temple of Time. Have so much fun!

City in the Sky
4th of July, FUCK YEAH! Only wonderful things happen on 4th of July, so that’s why we’re entering the City in the Sky. Have you ever dreamed of visiting Heaven, or possibly just have been longing to look closer at the clouds? Well, guess what, Hero? You will not be able to do any of that. Though, what you will be able to do is enjoy the very atmospheric and wind blowing City in the Sky. You will be able to solve some really innovative puzzles as well as “flying” through the sky. Epic battles will also be held, but you could say that about any temple, so I will just keep my mouth shut now.
Have it so much fun in this also very chilling dungeon. I mean, the wind is almost constantly blowing, so you would think it’s chilling up there as well.
Days 14-17 I’ll give you an extra day because this can actually take some time to do. You need to collect a lot of stuff around Hyrule, and bring the Rod back to life basically.
Goal:Complete the City in the Sky. Fly around and stab that bastard in the back. It’s time to slay some dragons and it’s going to be satisfying. When that guy is dead, you’re done. Again, more obvious it couldn’t be, so I’m not really sure as to what to say here. Just don’t go up to the Mirror of Twilight after you’ve killed the dragon. We don’t want to make any progress here, do we?
Awesome Tier:You’re not allowed to use the bow in the Hidden Village. When you get the mission to clear the Hidden Village of baddies, you’re not allowed to use the bow if you want to be awesome. It’s a basic restriction, but it can make some things annoying. You’ll just have to be innovative and sneaky.
God Tier:You’re not allowed to use the sword in the City in the Sky except against the boss. Yup, it says it right there. Again, you will have to be innovative and avoid enemies for the sake of making it easier for yourself. This can be a pretty tough challenge to complete. But if you feel like you’re up for it, it’s certainly possible. I can give you one advice: The Ball & Chain has some nasty damage and does damage things around you when you spin it. Though, be careful with that Wii mote, Wii players. Too much movement and you've basically failed the challenge.

Palace of Twilight
Dark salutations, Hero! This time we’re entering a forbidden place. It’s a world whose only purpose is to keep prisoners from the light. It’s a world made by the goddesses to keep track of those who abuses what they cannot comprehend or control. The world is a curse that cannot be broken, and it stays within you and your family forever. The world doesn’t just change your appearance, but also who you are. Don’t stay there for too long, it would be silly if you ended up like one of them.
Days 17-19 This will probably take just a few hours to complete, but I will keep the amount of time in there for two reasons: for the lulz, and for me to have time to make the other part. Objections? Come at me, bro!
Goal:Complete the Palace of Twilight. Sweet, we’re almost there! Just keep going and slay some crazy madmen who’ve lost their minds and you’ve soon saved the world.
First of all, trying to come up with things to do in the Palace of Twilight is far from easy. Secondly, I did not have that much time. Meaning, these challenges are probably boring and stupid. Awesome Tier:Don’t let Zant get a single hit on you. Pretty self-explanatory. Don’ t let Zant hit you during any of the phases, and the stamp of awesomeness is yours.
God Tier:Don't let any Shadow Beast outside of the boss door touch the ground before they die. Simply kill all the Shadow Beasts before they touch the ground, aka in the air. Before they start to fight you, they will fall down on you from the ceiling. A spin attack once-shots them, so that's your best bet. They also spawn first at the front, then the back, then the front, and so on, until they're all dead. Will probably be a little bit harder on the Wii because of no quick spins.

Hyrule Castle
Dawn of the Final Day
Goal:Kill Ganondorf. The man that you’ve chased without knowing it yourself is just now out of reach. He’s been hiding behind his puppets, and still he’s hiding in his castle, waiting for you. Are you ready to take back what is yours? Are you ready to pay back for what he has done to, not just the world, but also the ones you care for? Just remember what the spirits taught you. WITH GREAT POWER, COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY!
Awesome Tier:Enter the room full of chests in Hyrule Castle. You know how to get a hold of every key in that castle? You don’t even care for every key and just save one for that door? Well, get to it then. This time it’s easy to be awesome, and I think everyone deserves to be a little awesome sometime.
God Tier:Kill Ganondorf without using a single Hidden Skill except Ending Blow. You know those Hidden Skills that you worked so hard to get your hands on? Yeah, you have to throw those away if you want to be God this time. You’re not allowed to use Hidden Skills against Ganondorf, just your regular, boring sword and shield...and supposedly other items as well.
If you have any questions or concerns, or if you think we've missed something, feel free to post it here. Nothing is too obscure to ask or wonder about. As long as you keep yourself to the rules of WMB, you'll probably get an answer. There are no restrictions or sign-ups to join in this. If you’re new to this forum or if you didn’t notice this thread until now, you can still join in on the fun if you want. Everyone deserves to have fun sometimes, even the heroes who are late to the party!

Fantastic introduction, Xytox. I'll start playing right away -- should have my first journal entry up by tonight.

Re: Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
Well, I'm just going to finish my pizza and then it's time to play through Twilight Princess again. I'm doing it on an emulator actually just so I can play the Gamecube version and have the ability to take pictures. I already have some awesome pictures in mind that I want to take. Ho ho ho, oh yes, trust me on that at least.

Re: Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
Well that was a neat introduction I just finished my pizza so I'll also start playing right away and I'll play on an emulator too because i found the Wii controls for the game to be very awkward... Not to mention the painfully low resolution...

Forgive my ignorance but... What exactly are these journal entries? If my guess is correct, I'd be fairly interesting in making one myself as I'm pretty excited to replay this game and getting involved in it in general.

Re: Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
Essentially, we'll just discuss our thoughts on our personal playthroughs as they progress. Initially, I suggested that we each create our own Journal thread. Instead, though, I think that we'll all post our journal entries in the same designated "checkpoint" thread. This will serve as the first checkpoint thread, so feel free to post your thoughts on your experience up to this point. These journal entries can be as lengthy or as brief as you'd like.

Re: Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
Well, just to keep this thread somewhat alive, I'll go ahead and say that I'm going to start my journal after I've completed the second segment of this playthrough due to my stomach not cooperating at the moment. I can't write anything while feeling sick even if my life depended on it. Remind me to never eat almost a month old Pringles from another country, lol.

Yeah, that was a bad call, eating those. I haven't gotten around to posting my journal entry yet either, as I spent most of yesterday restructuring the forums. Tonight, it's happening.

Re: Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
Well, I'm sorry I'm more than one and a half hour late with updating this. Totally forgot about the time when I was watching a stream. Doesn't seem to matter though, as no one has said a word about it. Anyway, it's up now and I hope it makes sense. I feel like it's sloppy as I haven't double checked it or anything.
Again, if anyone feels like it's not enough time between the updates, then please say so. The time can very well be increased. It's not hard for me to push it forward one day or two, heh.

"A Goron Mines"? Ein needs to be replaced with an article like "das, die or der". And extending the time would be great. I haven't progressed very far.

Re: Twilight Princess Mass Playthrough (DAH SCHEDULE)
The German language is very similar to Swedish actually, so I do know what I typed down up there. It was mainly just a bad joke, hehe. Ein means one or a, which obviously isn't correct. But hey, Foresto Templo isn't Japanese, so was-so-ever. I can change it if you want me to though, heh.
FreezeFlame ist ein Grammatik Nazi. I barely know any German. But I will take it next year in school, so hopefully that will help somewhat if you don't like my German.
