This is probably a stretch, but this piece of Midna/Zelda cosplay has become pretty popular around the 'net.

I've seen pictures of those two lovely ladies floating around Tumblr and deviantArt. As Kotaku states, that really is some of the best cosplay I think I've ever seen. Nice photography there as well, so kudos to whomever was doing the camera work!

Zelda Dungeon just released an article, listing the 16 most annoying Zelda characters; Midna ranked in at #2. Now, this isn't a troll post from me, I promise. :P The author does clarify that he's primarily referring to her attitude during the early portions of the game, and that he "still really likes Midna."

Personally, while I much prefer the kind-hearted Midna of the last two thirds of TP, I also found her initial demeanor to be hilarious. What about you guys?

so he let THAT determine his outlook on the character? After all the other characters that are extremely annoying *cough*postmen*cough* she got #2? wow

I actually really liked her personality in the beginning. As I've said before, one reason I like her so much is because her personality is so similar to mine. I honestly liked her throughout the entire game but I liked that part a wee bit better.

Post Re: Sites of Midna Recognition
One of my favorite Youtubers, Archengeia, just posted a Q&A video, wherein he was asked...

"What do you think of the character Midna from Twilight Princess? Do you think she is more of the 'romance interest' to Link as opposed to Zelda in the other games, and do you think we might see her again in future LoZ titles?"

I was really hoping that he would get asked this question eventually, as I know that he confessed his love for Twilight Princess in a previous video. And while this doesn't totally fit the criteria for this thread, I may still add this condensed quote to the Midna Plugs page once the new site is up.

"I've always thought Midna was an excellent character. I've used her many times as an example of proper character development... They were talking about [bringing her back] a lot, and there was a lot of talk about how much she was demanded to come back, and then Skyward Sword came out, and she's not in it. We'll see. I still hold out a little bit of hope. She was a very popular character, and it's not like they haven't done real sequels before. So, it is probable, and it would be cool if they pulled that off properly."

Right. Condensed.

I like Midna's character and personality. She was more of a person rather than an A.I. that gave you obvious information about your happenings.

I'm not sure if this one's been posted already. However, a couple of years ago, Official Nintendo Magazine presented some of the most popular suggestions for what, at the time, was simply called "Zelda Wii." O' course, Midna's return was one of those:
