Halo: Cryptum - 9/10

I promise, I don't just read Halo books. :P I just happened to have finished one, and hadn't checked this thread in a while.

Battle Chasers (Comic Series)

9/10

I am just so impressed with this comic series, I checked it out because the art was done by Joe Mad who also did all the art for the Darksiders games and I just had to read this series. But man o man, I never knew that western comics could be this dang good. I usually don't read comics except for the occasional japanese manga but this sort of far exceeds any manga that I have read which is surprising seeing as how I like the manga art style more than the western comic style.

Grendel, 8/10

This is the supposed back-story of antagonist Grendel from the famous story Beowulf. Although I wouldn't choose it out myself, it was one of the few mandatory books I've read that actually somewhat appealed to me. The understandable humor and *modern* English made it easier to read, so that may be the reason why I think "highly" of it.

The Tipping Point: 4/10
Summer reading book. When I first picked it up my expectations were actually rather high. It's a book that describes how rumors and trends spread, so I was somewhat fascinated by what it had to tell me. What it told me...is nothing I don't already know. I've mentioned that books are unbelievably boring to me, but this was a whole new level. I give it some points because most of the ideas they give are legitimate, but I found myself forgetting what it said too often.
