I had no idea where to post this, so if this is in the wrong place please move it.

I'm doing some new tests for my photo editing software, so I thought I try them out on you guys before I do anything with them.

Here it is:

Photoscape. That's the program. Really awesome once you know how to use it. I'll be posting some more later.

When I posted this, that photo I posted, I didn't crop out the background, somehow it disappeared. I tried for hours, to other images to do the same, but I can't. I'm might just download gimp.

I don't understand what you're exactly trying to say. Do you mean the render of the dragon disappeared?

There it is. Putting it as a new layer over whatever will result in what you did.

That's just it, it had a white background, but whenever I put a picture of lightning under it, the white background disappeared. Is that what you said? Sorry I don't know exactly what render is.

Yes, that is what a render is. When you take a character or object or whatever of your liking without the background. If you take a lightning background, and then open this render and place it over the lightning, you will get a similar outcome of what you just did up there.

It's impossible that your picture had a white background. If it did, the white background would've been in the picture as well. I think you mean this?

Those squares are just an indicator that there's absolutely nothing there. It's just the way of an image editing program to speak. They had to use something, and they obviously couldn't use white as an indicator because even white backgrounds exists.
