Dude, this is nice! I can see you're coming along greatly with FL Studio. I love the minor feel the song has in the beginning and the backing string arpeggios. You really did well with this one. Also, what instruments did you use? I don't think the piano was from Edirol.

I basically only use Edirol actually. I just mess a lot with the sound settings as I get more familiar with it (when you click EDIT on a font track). For the piano, i just changed the "Character" and "Attack" a bit so that it felt more mellow. You can create the weirdest effects, but it's not as versatile as a synth, which is way to confusing for me now lol.

Also, thanks bunches guys.

Post Update: Metamorphosis

::: Metamorphosis :::
New favorite right here. The song starts off with simplicity and a suspenseful touch, as it soon builds in intensity and delivers a feeling of dark evolution, at least from what I can tell. You can decide for yourself, but that's essentially how I named the piece. It will probably receive quick revision from me because of its rough format and the fact that I am currently combining it with another tune that you might see soon enough. For now, enjoy my work, but remember to turn up the bass for this one!

(The YouTube video is kickass if you ask me, but that's cause i only use Windows Movie Maker, which is a stinker)

Post Update: Sacred Grove Medley
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

::: Sacred Grove Medley :::
So, as some of you may know, during school we had a fine arts week, and friends of mine insisted that we play the lost woods song from Zelda, since i had written some of the song out prior. But, being as I am, I decided to take it a step further and play a quintet arrangement of Flibster's Sacred Grove remix, giving him credit as due of course. Anyway, after that fun stuff, I decided to revamp the quintet remix of a remix into a symphonic orchestrated version. This is the result. =)

Any chance of a version of this in OggVorbis? I think you can get better sound quality and it has some other features mp3 lacks. Also, a lot of people can't play mp3 without *a lot* of hassle.
