Studebaker played at this coffee place called Stardust last night, and it was probably our best show to date. Shame on you all for not showing up. I'm pretty sure that somebody recorded it, so I'll try to see if I can find that.

Haha, was it that event that you invited me (and probably all of your friends) to on Facebook? Because I assure you I was there to enjoy your natural awesomeness.

So since the last post, we've played a school battle of the bands that we lost to some metal band that I hereby dub "Phallus and More Phallus", and played a show at this place called the Copper Rocket. I haven't advertised at all because nobody here ever comes anyway. Here's a picture from that last show, which happened last Saturday.

Man, you guys are beast. I feel like there's too many metal bands anyway. It's not exactly the most skillful genre to practice.

Well metal can get pretty technical. The main problem I have with it is that there's no room whatsoever for improvisation and it focuses more on technique than melody. Guitar solos are basically arpeggios, and while they're usually difficult to play, they're not very interesting. Metal is far too structured for Studebaker's style anyway.

Nice music, man. I personally liked The Religion song. Also, who's playing trombone? Because I know that's not you. I also liked the dialogue part in the middle where the bassist and trombonist were playing Beat It.

Yeah, this was like the day we found out that Michael Jackson died, so we put Beat It in the middle of the Religion Song. Also, we have two trombone players besides me, which are Trey and Alex. Also thanks, but I can't say that this was one of our strongest performances. We were missing our drummer so our banjo player had to fill in, and it really threw us off.

Ah, I noticed something was lacking. And you just noticed MJ died? :o

So, when's your next show? Actually, do you have a full list of all your songs, or is everything on your front page your discography?
