Apparently, gerbils are classified as exotic pets... I currently have three of those. <3 They hail from Mongolia and Egypt, I believe. But, they are so cuteee... x3

I also have a pet Aloe Variegata, which is obviously in the Aloe family. [Yes, I count my plants as pets. <3]Here's a picture of my Aloe from a while ago. About January:

I would love to have a pet Squid or Octopus, or even a Cuttlefish, they are so cool and alien like. As for pets that I own id have to say the most exotic is the two Parrots my mother has.

At least I won't have to endure unwelcome guests

That would be a cool pet! Not scary at all. Why are people scared of spiders, cause I think they are more cool than scary.

Most are pretty cute, too~ :3 But, they're still awesome. For example, this video makes me da'aw every time:

I don't think my parents would be fond of me getting a pet spider, though. Besides, I haven't cleaned my room in, like, eight years... and it would be horrible if my little baby got on the loose. I would be so devastated. =( I don't think he could survive the mess. xD

This would be an awesome pet. They are very intelligent. They can also change colors really fast!

I'm ok with spiders but the big ones... eh. Most of them are pretty cute. But for a pet I'd like to have would be a seahorse :3

Octopuses are awesome, true enough, but I'm not sure how suitable they are as pets. They're going to need a lot of research and looking after, I'd say, but I'm not entirely sure, pet octopuses aren't my area of expertise.

Actually they can be kept as pets but they are very hard to take care of because they might try to escape the tank. They also have a very short life span of 6 months to a year.

For the past ten years, I've owned a lovebird named Sidney. Does that count? :P

Oh, and spiders? Especially tarantulas?! No, thanks. O.o

I dont think this qualifies as a pet but I will post it here anyways. Its a cocunut crab, Im not entirely sure if they can be kept as pets but I think they just look so cool. I think that these things look cool but yet quite creepy at the same time.
