Post Computer specs?
What are your computer specs? You know, the speed of the processor, RAM type, etc. Mine are as follows, until I build my new rig:

CPU: 1.86GHz Dual Core
RAM: 2GB DDR2
Drive controller type: SATA
Hard Drives: 2 160GBs, no RAID array

and I forget the rest. I'll run some tests and benchmarks when I get home though.

CPU: Pentium4 3.4GHz. Who needs Dual Core? :P
RAM: 2GB DDR2
Drive Controller: No bloody clue. Never even heard of it.
Hard Drive: Something like 280GB. But I need more...I've only got about thirty of those left :P . That, kids, is what you get from ripping DVDs.

Also:

DVD Burner: 18x
CD ROM: 52x24x52
Graphics Card: 256MB Geforce 7200 GX (don't quote me on that, but I do need a new one of these sooner or later too once I get money)

Well I guess I can post my comps specs. I've ugraded it as much as possible without replacing anything too expensive like the power supply motherboard or processor.

CPU: Intel Celeron D 2.6GHz
RAM: 1.256G of sweet old DDR
Hard Drive: 2 1 60G 1 80G crappy
Drive Controller: IDE
Power Supply: Generic Emachines power supply max:250Watts
Disc Drive: Samsung Light scribe 18x Dvd/Cd writable drive
Video Card: The best one I could get for reg PCI slots and 250W was a Nvidia Geforce 5500 FX.
Floppy Drive: Thats right custom put in. I just kinda cut a hole in the front lol.
Keyboard: Logitech G11 Gaming Series Keyboard.
Mouse: Logitech Wireless mouse.
Motherboard:...A really bad Emachines one.
Internet: DSL, I want comcast though)
Security: AVG Antivirus+Antispyware, HiJack This, Combofix, Lspfix, Killbox, Ewido, CCleaner, and Root Kit Hook Analyzer
Monitor: Envision 19" LCD
Printer: Lexmark Z715
Speakers: The only decent thing from Emachines.
Extra: I got this cool little hub on the front with a usb, smart card, SD Card, Camera Card, and one other crazy one.
Admin Account Name, Password, External and Internal IP, Street Adress, Social Security Number, and Parents Credit Card Number: Haha you wish :P

And even as crappy as it is, it runs faster than any other persons comp I know of.

*highlights* :(

lol, this reminds me of those old Mastercard commercials. Monitor - Acer 19" LCD: $250. Turning a thread made a year ago by a Midna fanatic on NSider into its own website? Priceless.

Aww...Dak's using Vista? :'(

Anyway, I use X-OOM Movie Clone 3 Gold. Works pretty well, but doesn't get past some of the new security stuffs that most new DVDs use (i.e. I couldn't get The Bourne Ultimatum). I did get 300, though (y-eah) and Sicko (yeah! B) ). Got 'em all on my MP3 player so I can watch them during Chem.

I like being able to rip it to an MPG, though. Then it's right there on my comp, taking up my...err...memory :P .
