Zelda: Breath of the Wild to Appear at The Game Awards

Considering that Nintendo’s first full-fledged Switch presentation doesn’t land until Jan. 12, I figured we wouldn’t see any new Breath of the Wild footage until the new year. However, according to a pair of teaser images from Geoff Keighley, this year’s The Game Awards will feature new footage from Link’s next adventure.

The show begins this Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. PT, 9 p.m. ET. Talk about a holiday surprise! What are you hoping to see from the presentation? A new environment? A boss battle? More of a showcase of the game’s voice acting? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
